Conference Carolinas Swimming Heavily Featured on CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Four men’s teams and six women’s teams from Conference Carolinas have earned Scholar All-America Team honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
In men’s swimming, Barton, Chowan, Emmanuel and Lees-McRae were all honored. In women’s swimming, Barton, Chowan, Converse, Emmanuel, King and Lees-McRae were all honored.
Emmanuel and Lees-McRae both earned the honor in men’s swimming for the second consecutive semester. Barton, Converse, Emmanuel, King and Lees-McRae women's swimming all earned the honor for the second straight semester.
A record 789 programs from 461 institutions were selected to the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team for the spring 2020 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their spring grade-point averages and represent 17,982 student-athletes.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation’s first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy and professional development.
