South Atlantic Conference Carolinas Men’s Wrestling Strongly Featured in Latest NWCA Rankings

MANHEIM, Pa. – South Atlantic Conference Carolinas men’s wrestling is strongly featured in the first regular season poll of the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) NCAA Division II National Rankings.
 
In total, seven from South Atlantic Conference Carolinas men’s wrestling are ranked individually with Newberry’s Isiah Royal leading the way with a spot atop the 141-pound weight class.
 
In addition to Newberry being ranked 12th, Belmont Abbey, King, Lander and Limestone also received votes in the latest national team rankings. 
 
The NCAA Division II Coaches Rankings are voted on and compiled by two head coaches from each of the six Super Regions. Following this edition of the poll, two more regular season rankings will be published leading up to the 2021 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships.
