Igor Bretas Dantas of Emmanuel Tabbed Conference Carolinas Men’s Swimmer of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Igor Bretas Dantas of Emmanuel has been tabbed as the Conference Carolinas Men’s Swimmer of the Week.
The junior from Indaiatuba, Brazil put together a strong performance at the EC January Invitational and the Emmanuel Senior Day Swim Meet last weekend.
In the Friday, Jan. 22 portion of the event he finished first in the 400 medley relay (55.42 in the 100 fly), first in the 200 IM (2:00.82) and first in the 200 fly (2:05.53). One day later in the Emmanuel Senior Day Swim Meet, Bretas Dantas collected first in the 200 medley relay (23.04 in the fly split), first in the 200 free (1:49.21) and first in the 100 free (46.47).
