What is your hometown?
Indian Trail, N.C.
Why did you choose your school?
I chose LMC because of the amazing views of the mountains all around campus and how the small community reminds me of my nana's hometown in Vermont.
How did you choose your major?
I have always had a strong passion for injury care and prevention throughout high school and into undergrad. The mechanics of the body has always been very fascinating to me as well as how everything in the body connects to properly function.
What is your favorite class? Why?
My favorite class so far has been structural kinesiology with our strength & conditioning coach. This class was my favorite because it was really cool to learn about the different parts in the body like the shoulder girdle, the knee and the hip and how there are so many different parts that make a specific body part work properly.
What is your dream job?
My dream job is to be an Athletic Trainer for a professional sports team in Charlotte.
What advice would you give to an incoming freshman?
The advice I would give to an incoming freshman is to not be so hard on yourself and your performance on/off the field. Take challenges as they are and keep a positive mindset towards yourself while training.
How many years have you been involved with SAAC?
Second year.
What makes Conference Carolinas a great conference to be a part of?
Conference Carolinas offers a tight-knit community that allows for competition and sportsmanship on and off the field.
What does being a Champion in Body, Mind, and Soul mean to you?
It means that you are 100 percent focused on becoming a better version of yourself and to improve yourself as a “champion” physically, mentally and spiritually.
What is the most important thing you have learned from balancing the demands of athletics and academics?
The most important thing I have learned when balancing the demands of athletics and academics is to ALWAYS put your mental health first.
What is your most memorable moment as a student-athlete so far?
My most memorable moment as a student-athlete was going to the conference championship my freshman year.
One thing people don’t know about you is?
One thing people don’t know about me is that I love to paint, color and take pictures in my free time.
What is a non-athletic talent that you have?
A non-athletic talent I have is taking really cool pictures of the sunsets here in the mountains!
Favorite pump up song or music?
My favorite pump up music is a couple of worship songs and “Favorite Song” by Chance the Rapper.
