Conference Carolinas Continues Mental Health Series With Webinar on Recognizing the Signs of Anxiety and Depression

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas will hold its second Mental Health Series webinar of the year at 7 p.m. on Jan. 20, 2021.
 
The “Anxiety and Depression: Why Recognizing the Signs and Symptoms are Important for Student-Athletes” webinar will be presented by Dr. Shea Fontana, DO, who works in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, University of South Carolina School of Medicine – Greenville.
 
The special webinar is the second of a three-part series in conjunction with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) to promote mental wellness.
 
The “Anxiety and Depression: Why Recognizing the Signs and Symptoms are Important for Student-Athletes” webinar will also focus on why student-athletes may be at more risk, the ability to ask questions and learn about issues that impact student-athletes in this particular area and much more.
