David Szlobodnyik of Barton Named Men’s Swimmer of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. - David Szlobodnyik of Barton has been named Swimmer of the Week for men’s swimming for the week ending Oct. 17.
A freshman from Dunaujvaros, Hungary,
Szlobodnyik picked up the victory in the 100-yard butterfly (52.75) and the 200-yard butterfly (1:59.89) in Barton’s 171-75 dual meet victory over Chowan on Saturday, Oct. 16.
Szlobodnyik also helped Barton to relay wins in the 200-yard medley (1:39.73) and the men’s 400-yard freestyle (3:14.56) in the Barton win over Chowan.
