Brice Ballin of Mount Olive Named Men’s Golfer of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Brice Ballin of Mount Olive has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Golfer of the Week for men’s golf for the week ending Oct. 19.
A senior from Marseille, France, Ballin led the Trojans to the tournament win in a loaded Donald Ross Intercollegiate field at Mimosa Hills Golf and Country Club. Ballin finished the event five-under-par with a 205 with rounds of 66, 69 and 70 on the par-70 course. His 66 in the first round is a school record and his 54-hole total was also a new Mount Olive program-best.
In addition to his individual success, the Trojans posted the program's lowest 54-hole team score with an 848.
