Rhys Halcrow of King Named Men’s Tennis Player of the Week

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Rhys Halcrow of King has been named the Player of the Week for men’s tennis for the week ending Oct. 24.
 
A freshman from Portland, England, Halcrow won in both singles and doubles in King’s 7-0 victory over Emory & Henry. Halcrow and doubles partner Pedro Laydner first defeated Brandon McGuire and Corey Garrity of Emory & Henry, 6-1, at No. 2 doubles before Halcrow then went on to secure a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Archer Marlow at No. 2 singles.
