GREENVILLE, S.C. – Luke Gaddis of Emmanuel has been named the Conference Carolinas men’s cross country Runner of the Week for the week ending Oct. 3.

A freshman from Gainesville, Georgia, Gaddis’ fifth-place finish at the Alexander/Asics Invitational helped lead the Lions to a fourth-place team finish in a loaded field.

Gaddis finished with an 8K time of 25:32.64. The finish was out of 237 runners in an elite field that included runners from ACC schools such as Florida State and Georgia Tech. Gaddis has yet to finish outside the top five in any race this season.
