Three Conference Carolinas Teams Continue to be Ranked in Top 10 in Latest NCAA Women's Soccer Region Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS – Three Conference Carolinas women’s soccer programs continue to be ranked among the top 10 in the third NCAA Division II Southeast Region rankings of the 2021 fall season.
Conference Carolinas regular season champion Mount Olive (14-0-2, 11-0-1 Conference Carolinas) moved up to sixth in the latest region rankings, while UNC Pembroke (13-4-0, 11-1-0 Conference Carolinas) is eighth. North Greenville (11-3-5, 9-1-2) is 10
th.
The 2021 NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championship will include 56 teams with eight from the Southeast Region advancing to the tournament.
The Southeast Region features three automatic bids with the winners of the Conference Carolinas, Peach Belt Conference and South Atlantic Conference tournaments earning automatic berths to the 2021 NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Tournament. The rest of the selections will be at-large choices.
