FLORENCE, S.C. – “Keep shooting.”

“That was so close.”

“This is fun!”

“What a shot!”

All of this and much more was said happily by the Conference Carolinas student-athletes who had the unique opportunity to cheer on the Florence All-Stars (U8-U12) on Saturday, Nov. 13 ahead of the conference championship matches on Sunday, Nov. 14.

It was an amazing opportunity for the boys and girls All-Stars teams playing at the complex, but it was maybe even more so for the Conference Carolinas student-athletes in attendance.

All of the Florence All-Stars were invited to attend the Conference Carolinas Soccer Championships finals for free at the Florence Soccer Complex on Sunday.

In the conference’s efforts to help grow the beautiful game, the student-athletes also interacted with many of the parents in attendance who also seemed to relish the opportunity to talk with some of the finest soccer players in the NCAA.
