Ansley Robinson Named to United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Team

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The United Soccer Coaches released the 2021 NCAA Division II Women’s Scholar All-America Teams on Wednesday afternoon and North Greenville’s Ansley Robinson represented Conference Carolinas. 

A junior defender from Greer, South Carolina, Robinson earned third-team recognition. A biology major, Robinson has a 3.71-grade point average while helping lead North Greenville to the conference tournament this season. A stalwart on the backline for the Crusaders, Robinson was a first-team All-Conference selection and won Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Week earlier this season.

To be selected a student-athlete must play for a current United Soccer Coaches College Services member, be a junior or above in athletic standing at the current institution, have at least a 3.40 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) throughout their career and play a minimum of 75 percent of games during the season of nomination and be an elite player as supported by playing honors. 

In all, 40 student-athletes earned the Scholar All-America honor. The complete list is available here
