Thomas Cecere and Lucas Yearwood of North Greenville Collect Weekly Honors for Men’s Lacrosse
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Thomas Cecere and Lucas Yearwood of North Greenville have picked up the Conference Carolinas men’s lacrosse weekly awards.
Cecere was named the Offensive Player of the Week, while Yearwood earned the Defensive Player of the Week honors.
A junior from Grand Island, New York, Cecere had three goals and two assists in North Greenville’s narrow 9-8 loss to nationally eighth-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne. Cecere also picked up three ground balls and had one caused turnover.
A sophomore defender from Mauldin, South Carolina, Yearwood caused four turnovers in the one-goal loss to Lenoir-Rhyne. He also collected five ground balls.
