Livan Reinoso of Erskine and Logan Chapman of North Greenville Selected Weekly Award Winners for Baseball
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Livan Reinoso of Erskine and Logan Chapman of North Greenville have earned the weekly honors for Conference Carolinas baseball.
Reinoso was named the Player of the Week for the second straight week, while Chapman earned Pitcher of the Week honors.
Reinoso went 7-for-9 (.778) last week in a doubleheader split with Covenant. The junior from Hazelton, Pennsylvania had two home runs and a double in the doubleheader to go along with five RBIs and three runs scored. Reinoso slugged 1.556 in the doubleheader and had an on-base percentage of .700.
A redshirt sophomore right-handed pitcher from Easley, South Carolina, Chapman struck out six in North Greenville’s season-opening win over Newberry. He allowed just two hits in his five innings on the hill in fourth-ranked North Greenville’s 9-2 victory over Newberry on Feb. 12.
