GREENVILLE, S.C. - Isaiah Reddish of Barton has been named the U.S. Basketball Writers Association Men’s Division II National Player of the Week for his performance in the week of games between Feb. 8-14, 2021.

The senior guard averaged 26.0 points, 11.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists while leading Barton to a 2-1 record in three games last week. Reddish posted double-doubles in two of the three contests and was two assists shy of a triple-double in the Bulldogs’ 94-79 win over Erskine on Feb. 12. He collected 24 points to go along with 16 rebounds and eight assists in the victory. Reddish followed that performance the next night with another double-double as he poured in a career-best 40 points with 13 rebounds and five assists to lead Barton to a 92-83 win and weekend sweep of Erskine.

Reddish opened the week with 16 points and five rebounds on the road in a 70-63 defeat at Mount Olive. His 40-point performance was the seventh-highest single-game scoring effort in Division II this season.

For the three-game week, Reddish shot 47 percent (24-for-51) from the field. He made 85 percent (28-for-33) of his free throws.
