Emma Leclercq of Mount Olive Chosen Women’s Golfer of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Emma Leclercq of Mount Olive has been chosen as the Conference Carolinas Women’s Golfer of the Week.
A sophomore from Castelnau-le-Lez, France, Leclercq (67-79=146) finished stroke play tied with teammate Johanna Andersson (74-72=146) for first at the Spring Kickoff Intercollegiate at the Golf Club at South Hampton in St. Augustine, Florida. Leclercq would take home the individual title in the event in a playoff.
The playoff went five holes before Leclercq defeated her teammate to win individual medalist honors. Both were named to the all-tournament team for their efforts.
