NEWBERRY, S.C. - Nationally 20th-ranked Newberry earned a thrilling 22-21 win over Lander on Saturday to pick up its third straight South Atlantic Conference Carolinas men's wrestling regular season title.
Newberry (7-0, 6-0 South Atlantic Conference Carolinas) has now claimed the first three South Atlantic Conference Carolinas men's wrestling championships after also earning the inaugural title in the 2018-19 campaign to go along with the regular season titles in the 2019-20 and the 2020-21 seasons.
