Nelson Stafford Selected Men’s Tennis Player of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Nelson Stafford of Belmont Abbey has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Men’s Tennis Player of the Week.
A sophomore from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Stafford bested Alex Schiiltz of Young Harris 6-0, 6-4 at No. 1 singles last week. In addition, Stafford teamed with Andres Golindano to collect at 7-6 win over the Young Harris tandem of Schiiltz and Rodrigo Mendoza at No. 1 doubles.
