Conference Carolinas Releases Women’s Soccer Weekly Honors

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas released its women’s soccer weekly honors on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
 
Three Conference Carolinas women’s soccer student-athletes shared the Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Hope Sanborn picked up Defensive Player of the Week honors.
 
All three of the Offensive Player of the Week honorees in Meghan O’Ferral of King, Joy Namyst of Southern Wesleyan and Lexi Todd of Lees-McRae scored the game-winning goal in 1-0 conference victories.
 
A senior from Monroe, North Carolina, Sanborn made five saves in picking up the clean sheet in the 1-0 Lees-McRae victory over preseason favorite Belmont Abbey.
