Devin Napoli of North Greenville and James Bucher of Belmont Abbey Named Weekly Award Winners for Men’s Lacrosse
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Devin Napoli of North Greenville and James Bucher of Belmont Abbey have been chosen as the weekly award honorees for Conference Carolinas men’s lacrosse.
Napoli was named the Offensive Player of the Week, while Bucher garnered Defensive Player of the Week accolades.
A freshman from Wallingford, Connecticut, Napoli finished with six goals and five assists in a conference win over Lees-McRae. Napoli scored his six goals on just six shots. He also collected three ground balls. Napoli’s 11 total points in the contest tied a program record.
A sophomore from Waxhaw, North Carolina, Bucher caused six turnovers in two wins for nationally-ranked Belmont Abbey last week. He also collected five ground balls to go along with his four caused turnovers in a conference win over Barton.
