Conference Carolinas Owns Two of the Top Three Spots in the Latest NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Southeast Region Rankings
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas owns two of the top three spots in the latest NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Southeast Region Rankings.
The rankings are the final before the release of the NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Selection Show on NCAA.com at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 7.
Conference Carolinas regular season champion Emmanuel is second in the Southeast Region rankings followed by Belmont Abbey at No. 3. Southern Wesleyan is eighth in the region rankings. To see the full region rankings, please visit

The NCAA Division II Championships Committee recently announced that there will be predetermined regional sites for the 2021 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships.
In the Southeast Region that now features the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) in addition to Conference Carolinas and the South Atlantic Conference (SAC), the men’s basketball regional will be held in Harrogate, Tennessee at Lincoln Memorial’s B. Frank Turner Arena and the women’s regional will be contested at Holt Fieldhouse on the campus of Carson-Newman in Jefferson City, Tennessee.
