Ethan Stringer of North Greenville and Alex Hart of Barton Selected Weekly Award Winners for Baseball
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Ethan Stringer of North Greenville and Alex Hart of Barton have been named the weekly award winners for Conference Carolinas baseball.
Stringer has been selected as the Player of the Week, while Hart picked up Pitcher of the Week accolades.
A redshirt junior from Independence, Kentucky, Stringer was stout at the dish in North Greenville’s dominating three-game sweep of Salem. Stringer finished the series hitting .667 (6-of-9) with 10 runs scored to go along with five RBIs. He also had a double and a home run. In the series finale, Stringer was a perfect 3-of-3 at the plate with five runs scored and two RBIs. Stringer owned a slugging percentage of 1.111 in the three-game series.
A junior lefty from Raleigh, North Carolina, Hart dealt a complete-game shutout in a 1-0 victory over Emmanuel on Friday, March 26. Hart struck out four and allowed just six hits.
