Semifinals Set for Conference Carolinas Spring Women’s Volleyball Championship After Sensational Saturday of Pool Play
In a unique setup to allow more opportunities on court for its women’s volleyball student-athletes, Conference Carolinas held pool play for the 2021 Spring Women’s Volleyball Championship on Saturday, April 10.
All of the teams competing on Saturday were looking to advance to the semifinals of the 2021 Conference Carolinas Women’s Volleyball Spring Championship that will be held on Saturday, April 17 at King University in Bristol, Tennessee. The final is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 18.
Top-seeded North Greenville advanced to the semifinals by winning both of its matches in pool play on Saturday, while second-seeded King won both of its matches in pool play to advance to the semifinals.
North Greenville will take on fourth-seeded Mount Olive in the semifinals. Mount Olive bested fifth-seeded Converse to move on to the semifinals. Sixth-seeded Barton upset third-seeded Emmanuel to advance to face King.
