Belmont Abbey in Lead After Opening Round of Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Belmont Abbey is in the lead after the opening round of the 2021 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship at the par 72, 5,846-yard setup at the Carolina Country Club.
 
Belmont Abbey carded a team score of 304 to sit six shots ahead of Mount Olive (310) after the opening round of play. Emmanuel (323) is in third after the first round.
 
Jenna Nagy of Belmont Abbey is in first individually after round one. Nagy carded an even par 72. Mount Olive’s Emma Leclercq is in second after shooting a 73 on day one. Morgan Comer (75) of Belmont Abbey is in third.
 
The second of three scheduled rounds for the 2021 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship gets underway at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 12.
