Eric George of Chowan and Brady Smith of Belmont Abbey Collect Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Honors
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Eric George of Chowan and Brady Smith of Belmont Abbey have collected the weekly honors for Conference Carolinas men’s lacrosse.
George was named the Offensive Player of the Week, while Smith was chosen as the Defensive Player of the Week.
A freshman from Stony Plain in Alberta, Canada, George finished with 10 points on seven goals and three assists in Chowan’s game with Lees-McRae. George’s 10 points are the second-most in a single game this season in Conference Carolinas. The seven goals are also the second-most in a single game as well.
A sophomore from Mason, Ohio, Smith went 15-of-24 on faceoffs and picked up 10 ground balls in Belmont Abbey’s win over North Greenville.
