Belmont Abbey Claims 2021 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Belmont Abbey claimed the team title at the 2021 Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship at the par 72, 5,846-yard setup at the Carolina Country Club.
 
Belmont Abbey finished its three rounds with a team total of 941 (304-314-323) to capture the automatic qualification to the NCAA Division II Women’s Golf Championship and its first Conference Carolinas team title since 2011. According to Conference Carolinas records, Belmont Abbey now has four Conference Carolinas Women’s Golf Championship titles since 2004 (2007, 2010, 2011 and 2021).
 
Emma Leclercq of Mount Olive claimed the Conference Carolinas individual title with a three-round score of 224 (73-73-78).
