Conference Carolinas Releases Women’s Tennis All-Conference Honors
GREENVILLE, S.C. – The 2021 all-conference accolades for women’s tennis in Conference Carolinas have officially been unveiled.
The 2021 women’s tennis all-conference awards were selected by the league’s head coaches.
A freshman from Suwanee, Georgia, Erskine’s Emma Bentz was selected as the Player of the Year in Conference Carolinas. Playing all year at No. 1 singles, Bentz was 14-2 overall and 8-1 in conference play in singles during the regular season.
A freshman from Bhubaneswar, India, Ameek Batth of Southern Wesleyan was chosen as the Freshman of the Year in Conference Carolinas after a strong freshman campaign.
In leading Erskine to a share of the regular season title and the No. 1 seed, Calhoun Parr was tabbed as the Coach of the Year. According to Conference Carolinas women’s tennis records, Parr has now won Coach of the Year in women’s tennis nine times (2005, 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2021).
