Conference Carolinas Unveils Women’s Lacrosse All-Conference Honors
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas has unveiled the 2021 all-conference honors for women’s lacrosse.
The 2021 women’s lacrosse all-conference awards were selected by the league’s head coaches.
A senior from Mechanicsville, Virginia, Kylie Eastman of Belmont Abbey was chosen as the Offensive Player of the Year. Eastman led the conference in points (7.88), goals (4.75) and assists (3.13) per game in league games.
A junior goalie from Parkville, Maryland, Ciara Moorman of Mount Olive was selected as the Defensive Player of the Year. Moorman led all in Conference Carolinas games with a save percentage of .600. She was also tops among starters in league games in goals against average (5.19).
A freshman from Laurel, Maryland, Shaelyn Yermal of Mount Olive was named the Freshman of the Year. Yermal averaged 2.25 goals per game in league play.
First-year head coach Heather Coppola of Mount Olive was selected as the Coach of the Year after leading her team to a perfect 8-0 league record during the regular season.
