Championship Game
A day after posting 20 runs and 18 hits, Mount Olive was limited to one hit by Emmanuel's Sydney Blackmon. She allowed just the one hit and struck out seven in the victory.
After a quick opening inning, Emmanuel took a 1-0 lead in the top of the second as Abbey Sims delivered a two-out double for the first run.
The Lions would add two more runs in the top of the third with three straight one-out singles. A Mount Olive miscue allowed the second run to score for the 3-0 advantage.
Emmanuel tacked on two more runs in the fourth inning as another miscue with two outs allowed a pair of Lions to score.
Sydney Blackmon took a no-hitter into the bottom of the sixth inning until Courtlynn Cooney reached on a bunt single. The Trojans loaded the bases in the inning before a fielder's choice and a fly out ended the inning.
