North Greenville and Mount Olive to Meet in Final of Spring Women’s Soccer Championship
FLORENCE, S.C. – Top-seeded North Greenville and third-seeded Mount Olive will face off in the final of the 2021 Conference Carolinas Spring Women’s Soccer Championship.
The championship match is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Florence Soccer Complex.
North Greenville earned a spot in the championship match with a 2-0 win over fourth-seeded Lees-McRae. Joelle Chick and Victoria Valentine netted the goals for the Crusaders, while Maggie Schopp registered three saves in collecting the clean sheet.
Jasmine Pinter led Mount Olive in its win over second-seeded Chowan. Pinter had two goals in the victory. Mount Olive goalkeeper Nicole Solicito not only made three saves in securing the clean sheet, but the goalkeeper also assisted Pinter on her first goal.
