Emmanuel Closes Out Historic 2021 Season at NCAA Division II Southeast Regional
DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Conference Carolinas Tournament champion Emmanuel closed out its tremendous 2021 season at the NCAA Division II Softball Southeast Regional at the Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium at Lynn Cottrell Park.
The sixth seed in the regional, Emmanuel dropped its opener, 12-4, to third-seeded Young Harris in six innings. Emmanuel mounted a furious comeback with four runs in the top of the fifth, but it was not enough in the loss to Young Harris. Emmanuel finished the loss with nine different players picking up a hit.

In the second game against fifth-seeded Tusculum, Emmanuel (19-29) once again tried to come back late, but single runs in the bottom of the fifth and sixth innings were not enough in a 6-2 loss to the Pioneers. Tusculum narrowly out-hit the Lions, 8-7, in the game.
