Mount Olive and North Greenville to Compete in NCAA Division II Baseball Southeast Regional

INDIANAPOLIS – Mount Olive and North Greenville will compete in the 2021 NCAA Division II Baseball Southeast Regional that will be hosted by North Greenville.
 
Conference Carolinas regular season champion Mount Olive is the second seed in the regional, while Conference Carolinas tournament champion North Greenville is the fourth seed. Catawba is the top seed in the regional with Wingate seeded third, UNC Pembroke fifth and Columbus State sixth.
 
Second-seeded Mount Olive will take on fifth-seeded UNC Pembroke in its regional opener. Fourth-seeded North Greenville will battle third-seeded Wingate in its regional opener.

Due to the health and safety protocols surrounding the pandemic, it has been deemed necessary to conduct all NCAA championship competition at predetermined sites. Earlier this month, North Greenville was selected to host the 2021 NCAA Division II Baseball Southeast Regional.
 
The 2021 NCAA Division II Baseball Southeast Regional will begin at North Greenville on May 27 at Ray and Bea Dillard Field. 
 
The winner of the double elimination Southeast Regional will advance to the 2021 NCAA Division II Baseball Championship that will be held June 5-12 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.
