Keep Up With All of the Action in the NCAA Division II Baseball Southeast Regional and NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships
It’s going to be a busy next few days for Conference Carolinas with the NCAA Division II Baseball Southeast Regional and the 2021 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Conference Carolinas will be represented strongly at the 2021 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
The championships will be held May 27-29 in Allendale, Michigan at the Grand Valley State Track & Field Stadium. Grand Valley State University and the West Michigan Sports Commission will serve as co-hosts of the championships.

Conference Carolinas had two men’s student-athletes and three women’s student-athletes selected for the championships.
Jami Wright of Southern Wesleyan enters the Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship having posted the top time in all of NCAA Division II in the 200 meter dash, while Sulaimane Bangura of Emmanuel posted the best time in the 400 meter dash.
In addition to the above, North Greenville’s Tevin Richardson will be competing in the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash, while Emmanuel’s Jharna Alson will compete in the 100 meter dash and 200 meter dash as well. Wright will also compete in the 400 meter dash. Zai Fraser of Lees-McRae will compete in the triple jump.
Mount Olive and North Greenville will both compete in the 2021 NCAA Division II Baseball Southeast Regional that will be hosted by North Greenville.
Conference Carolinas regular season champion Mount Olive is the second seed in the regional, while Conference Carolinas tournament champion North Greenville is the fourth seed. Catawba is the top seed in the regional with Wingate seeded third, UNC Pembroke fifth and Columbus State sixth.
Second-seeded Mount Olive will take on fifth-seeded UNC Pembroke in its regional opener. Fourth-seeded North Greenville will battle third-seeded Wingate in its regional opener.
The 2021 NCAA Division II Baseball Southeast Regional will begin at North Greenville on May 27 at Ray and Bea Dillard Field.

The winner of the double elimination Southeast Regional will advance to the 2021 NCAA Division II Baseball Championship that will be held June 5-12 at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina.
