Kaytlin Elkins of Barton Chosen to CoSIDA Women’s Volleyball Academic All-District® 3 Team

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Kaytlin Elkins of Barton has been chosen to the women’s volleyball 2020-21 Academic All-District® 3 Team that is selected by CoSIDA. 
 
A senior from Hope Mills, North Carolina, Elkins boasts a 3.70 grade-point average as a Nursing major.
 
The 2021 Conference Carolinas Spring Women’s Volleyball Offensive Player of the Year, Elkins averaged a conference-leading 4.61 points and 4.16 kills per set in league matches.
 
As a first-team Academic All-District® honoree, Elkins advances to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot.
 
The CoSIDA Academic All-District® teams are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada. 
 
The Division II and III CoSIDA Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2020-21 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CoSIDA Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
