Conference Carolinas to Hold 2022 Men’s Volleyball Championship at Mount Olive
MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – Conference Carolinas will host the semifinals and final of its 2022 Men’s Volleyball Championship at Kornegay Arena on the University of Mount Olive campus.
The 2022 Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Championship will get underway with first round competition at higher seeds starting on Wednesday, April 13. The quarterfinals will then be played at higher seeds on Tuesday, April 19.
The semifinals will then move to Mount Olive on Friday, April 22. The final is scheduled for Saturday, April 23 at Kornegay Arena.
“We are thrilled to be able to host our 2022 Men’s Volleyball Championship semifinals and final on the campus of Mount Olive,” Commissioner Chris Colvin said. “Mount Olive has a long and strong tradition of hosting Conference Carolinas Championships and we know that they will help us to provide our student-athletes a first-class experience.”
Mount Olive is ready to help showcase the top-level men’s volleyball student-athletes in Conference Carolinas.
“We are excited to be hosting the Men’s Volleyball Championship,” Mount Olive Vice President for Athletics Jeff Eisen said. “As one of the first schools in the league to sponsor men’s volleyball, it is great to see how the sport has grown and it is an honor to now be able to bring the championship to our campus.”
