UNC Pembroke Represents Conference Carolinas in USTFCCCA Women’s Cross Country Preseason Rankings
NEW ORLEANS, La. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches’ Association (USTFCCCA) has released its 2021 NCAA Division II Women’s Cross Country Preseason Rankings and Conference Carolianas’ UNC Pembroke received recognition.
The Braves are the ninth-ranked team in the Southeast Region, between Lenoir-Rhyne and Georgia College. Queens (N.C.) grabbed the top spot and is followed by Wingate and Anderson (S.C.).
Grand Valley State garnered 240 points to claim the top spot in the preseason poll followed by Adams State (228) and Augustana (S.D.)(226). The Southeast Region was represented by Queens (135) and Wingate (80) who are ranked 14th and 20th, respectively.
