Chloe Wade of King Named Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Chloe Wade of King has been named the Conference Carolinas Runner of the Week for women’s cross country for the week ending Sept. 26.
A freshman from Sevierville, Tennessee, Wade had an impressive collegiate debut for the Tornado as she was the team's top finisher at the Queens City Invitational hosted by Queens University of Charlotte on Saturday.
Wade finished 35th in the 262-runner field with a 5K time of 18:37.36. She was the top Conference Carolinas finisher and also helped King to a 15th-place finish in the 32-team event.
