Sasha Gardiner of King Named Women’s Golfer of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Sasha Gardiner of King has been named the Conference Carolinas Golfer of the Week for women’s golf for her efforts for the week ending Sept. 29.
A senior from West Sussex, England, Gardiner was the top Conference Carolinas finisher as she finished second at the King University Invitational at Bristol Country Club.
Gardiner shot an opening round 76 before finishing with a round of 79. Her tournament total of 155 was just four strokes off the leader. It was her sixth career top five finish and ninth time in the top 10, including her second top 10 this season.
