Hayden Gensler of Converse Tabbed Men’s Soccer Freshman of the Month for September
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Hayden Gensler of Converse has been tabbed as the Freshman of the Month in men’s soccer for September of 2021.
The freshman from Cleveland, Georgia currently leads Converse and is tied for second in Conference Carolinas in goals with five on the 2021 campaign so far.
Gensler has scored in half of Converse’s eight games on the month. He scored two of the four goals in the Converse double overtime tie with regionally-ranked Catawba on Sept. 15.
Conference Carolinas recently announced the addition of the Freshman of the Month award for all sports beginning this fall.
Each month, the conference office will select a freshman student-athlete who has excelled in competition. Each sport will have a student-athlete honored during their regular season of competition.
