Katie Pressley of UNC Pembroke Selected Women’s Volleyball Freshman of the Month for September
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Katie Pressley of UNC Pembroke has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month for women's volleyball for September of 2021.
The freshman from Indian Trail, North Carolina put together a fantastic opening month for UNC Pembroke. In fact, Pressley is presently leading Conference Carolinas in assists per set (9.30) and she is also in the top 15 in the conference in service aces per set (0.45).
The two-time Conference Carolinas women’s volleyball Specialist of the Week in September ended the month with 409 total assists to go along with 108 digs. She also had 20 aces in the month of September.
Conference Carolinas recently announced the addition of the Freshman of the Month award for all sports beginning this fall.
Each month, the conference office will select a freshman student-athlete who has excelled in competition. Each sport will have a student-athlete honored during their regular season of competition.
