GREENVILLE, S.C. – Commissioner Chris Colvin recently announced the addition of Erin Indermill to the Conference Carolinas office as a Conference Officer.

Indermill joins the Conference Carolinas office after most recently serving as an assistant volleyball coach at Coker University. She graduated from Coker with a Master’s in Athletics Administration in December of 2021.

“We are thrilled to be able to welcome Erin to our office,” Colvin said. “Erin’s strong background makes her an ideal fit for Conference Carolinas. In fact, she will be an asset to all in the conference as a former two-sport student-athlete and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Co-President. She obviously knows how to handle multiple tasks well and we look forward to her helping all in the conference in her valuable role.”

Indermill assisted Coker head volleyball coach Travis Nead with all of the daily operations of the program. Her responsibilities included recruiting, scouting, running the women’s volleyball social media accounts, organizing study hall and much more.

In addition to working with the volleyball team during her time at Coker, Indermill also served as an intern with the Florence Flamingos of the Coastal Plain League during the summer of 2021. Her internship focused on managing the gameday staff for food and beverage and working closely with the Director of Operations where she helped with the mid-season rebranding of the baseball club.

A native of Santa Clarita, California, Indermill is a graduate of California State University, Northridge where she was a member of the CSUN women’s indoor volleyball and beach volleyball teams. Indermill graduated from CSUN with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics.

During her time at CSUN, Indermill was a four-time member of the Big West All-Academic Team. She was a two-year team captain who also served as the Co-President of the SAAC. Indermill was involved in the Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Council and she was also a student assistant for the Senior Associate Athletic Director of Performance and Student-Athlete Wellness.

An American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Diversity Award Winner in 2021, Indermill was an assistant coach with the Legacy Volleyball Club for six seasons before joining the Coker volleyball staff. Indermill also led a program in the City of Los Angeles in the summer of 2017 teaching young women how to become volleyball referees for local recreation leagues. She was also an invited speaker that summer at the “Girls Play LA” event in Los Angeles that was targeted at empowering young women to use sports as a platform to prepare for college and beyond.

“I am really looking forward to working with everyone in Conference Carolinas,” Indermill said. “I have learned over the last couple of years just how strong the conference is in so many different ways, which is why I am so excited to learn from the conference staff but also help our member institutions in Conference Carolinas continue to lead the way.”
