GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas is going to focus on continuing to tell its story by allowing its student-athletes to take over the @ConfCarolinas Instagram account throughout the spring of 2022.

Throughout the spring of 2022, Conference Carolinas will turn things over to a student-athlete on Instagram by allowing them to utilize the stories function from morning until night. The student-athletes will take the opportunity to further show what it is like to be a student-athlete in Conference Carolinas.

This marks the second straight academic year that Conference Carolinas has given this opportunity to its student-athletes.

The first @ConfCarolinas Takeover of 2022 will feature Ryan Sumarsono of King men’s volleyball. Sumarsono will show what it is like to be a King student-athlete while the men’s volleyball team is at Harvard this upcoming weekend (intro video).

“We are always looking for ways to showcase our story differently and effectively,” Commissioner Chris Colvin said. “What better way than through the eyes of our own student-athletes? Our student-athletes are special and they all have unique talents. I think this will allow everyone involved in Conference Carolinas and, really, all of our fans to learn more about what our greatest asset is in Conference Carolinas in our student-athletes.”
