Six Conference Carolinas Programs Earn Prestigious CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Honors
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Six Conference Carolinas swimming programs earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team honors for the fall of 2021.
Emmanuel, King and Lees-McRae all earned the prestigious honor in men’s and women’s swimming with Barton, Converse and UNC Pembroke collecting the honor in women’s swimming.
CSCAA has selected 728 teams from 450 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the fall 2021 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their fall 2021 grade-point averages and represent 18,029 student-athletes.
Even more impressively, Conference Carolinas’ own Lees-McRae led all Division II women’s swimming programs with a GPA of 3.80 for the fall semester. Emmanuel with a team GPA of 3.68 was fifth in Division II women’s swimming.
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation’s first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy and professional development.
