Three Conference Carolinas Institutions Receive United Soccer Coaches Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Awards
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - United Soccer Coaches announced this week the Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award recipients for high school and college soccer programs competing in the fall season. The awards recognize a total of 193 teams across the country for exhibiting fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game. Three Conference Carolinas institutions earned the honor.
Belmont Abbey and Lees-McRae each earned the Silver Award which is given to teams that accumulate a percentage ranging from 11-30%. UNC Pembroke earned the Bronze Award which is presented to teams that accumulate a percentage of cards ranging from 31-50%.
