Conference Carolinas Announces 2022 Women’s Soccer Championship Bracket

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Mount Olive and North Greenville finished the regular season 11-1 to share the Conference Carolinas women’s soccer regular-season title while the Crusaders earned the top seed thanks to a head-to-head victory over the Trojans. 

The Crusaders, who captured the first regular-season title in program history, enter the tournament 12-3-1 overall and earned a bye to the tournament semifinals on Friday, Nov. 4 at 11 a.m.

The Trojans have won three of the past four regular-season titles and two of the past three tournaments. Mount Olive has a 13-4 overall record and also booked their ticket to the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 4. They will play at 1:30 p.m. at the Truist Soccer Complex at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, North Carolina.

The reigning Conference Carolinas women’s soccer tournament champions, UNC Pembroke, enter the tournament as the third seed with a 10-1-1 record in league play and a 14-2-1 mark overall. They will host the winner of No. 6 Emmanuel and No. 7 Barton on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. The Lions (8-8-1, 7-5 CC) will host the Bulldogs (5-7-2, 5-5-2 CC) in the first round on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m.

Lees-McRae earned the four seed with an 8-5-4 overall record and a 7-3-2 mark in league play. The Bobcats will host the winner of No. 5 Belmont Abbey and No. 8 Chowan on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 2 p.m. The Crusaders (8-7-2, 7-4-1 CC) will host the Hawks (5-9-2, 5-5-2 CC) on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m.
