Emma Leclercq of Mount Olive Named Conference Carolinas Women’s Golfer of the Week for Second Time

GREENVILLE, S.C. Emma Leclercq of Mount Olive was selected as the Conference Carolinas Golfer of the Week for women’s golf for the week ending Oct. 4.
 
A senior from Castel nau le Lez, France, Leclercq opened her season with a runner-up finish at the Patsy Rendleman Invitational at the par 71, 5,829-yard Country Club of Salisbury in Salisbury, North Carolina. The 2021 Conference Carolinas individual champion and 2022 First Team All-Conference Carolinas honoree carded a 36-hole 151 to finish in second place.

Leclercq opened the tournament with a first-round 74 and closed the event with a 77 to finish two strokes back. The Trojans finished tied for fourth as a team with a 634 (318-316).
