ELMHURST, Ill. The National Ten Pin Coaches Association (NTCA) released the 2022-23 Women’s Bowling Preseason Polls and Lincoln Memorial, Tusculum and Emmanuel received early season recognition.

In the national poll, which includes all three NCAA divisions, 2022 Conference Carolinas/Great Midwest Women’s Bowling Champion Lincoln Memorial was ranked 24th with 72 points. Tusculum and Emmanuel each received votes in the poll.

In the NTCA DII/DIII Preseason Poll, Lincoln Memorial was ranked ninth with 177 points while Tusculum was 14th with 61 points and Emmanuel received votes.

The poll is voted on by NTCA coaches which rank the top 25 teams on their ballot. Each position has a designated point value, ranging from 40 points for first place and one point for twenty-fifth place. To be ranked teams need to equal or surpass the minimum vote criteria, which is one vote for every eight ballots submitted. The actual ranking position is determined by using the adjusted point standings, which lists in priority order the total points a school has accumulated after the highest and lowest votes are dropped.

The complete poll is available here with the DII/DIII poll here.
