UNC Pembroke Women's Soccer Highlights Conference Carolinas Rankings Update

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas has had a successful start to the fall campaign with 10 teams ranked in their respective regional polls in the sports of men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s cross country.

In the fifth edition of the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer Poll Converse went from unranked to seventh in the Southeast Region with a 9-1-1 overall record and a perfect league mark (7-0). North Greenville was also ranked in the region at No. 10. The full rankings can be viewed here

On the women’s side of the pitch, UNC Pembroke received votes in the national poll for the second straight week and remained fourth in the Southeast with a 10-2 record overall and a 6-1 mark in league action. The full rankings are available here

On the cross country course, there were no changes in the men’s United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Southeast Region rankings. Emmanuel continues to lead three Conference Carolinas programs in the rankings at No. 4 while UNC Pembroke is ranked sixth and Lees-McRae is eighth.

Two women’s cross country teams made the USTFCCCA Southeast Region rankings led by UNC Pembroke at No. 7. Converse, who did not run this week, came in at No. 10. The women’s national poll is here while the regional rankings are available here.
