Conference Carolinas Places 63 on CSC All-District Soccer Teams

GREENVILLE, S.C.  - The 2022 Academic All-District® Men’s and Women’s Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. 

Conference Carolinas had 63 student-athletes named to the All-District teams with 32 women’s student-athletes and 31 men’s student-athletes earning the honor. UNC Pembroke led eight women’s league programs with six honorees while Mount Olive led eight Conference Carolinas men’s teams with six on the list. 

Barton and Belmont Abbey women’s soccer each had five student-athletes honored with Mount Olive adding four and Chowan, Francis Marion, King and Lees-McRae each adding three. 

On the men’s side, Converse had five honorees with Chowan and Lees-McRae adding four each. Barton, Belmont Abbey, Francis Marion and King each added three.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed here.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
