Addison Dangler of Mount Olive Selected Women’s Soccer Freshman of the Month of October

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Addison Dangler of Mount Olive has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month for women’s soccer for October. 
 
A 4-foot-11 midfielder, Dangler was named Conference Carolinas women’s soccer Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 18 as she tallied five points on two goals and an assist in a 2-0 week for the Trojans. For the month she tallied eight points on three goals and two assists as she put six of 11 shots on goal to help the Trojans to a 6-0 month. 

The Manassas, Virginia native recorded an assist on the eventual game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory at Belmont Abbey on Oct. 11. The following match on Oct. 15, Dangler scored the initial two goals of the game in a 5-0 win over Converse. She closed out the season with a goal and an assist, as Mount Olive edged Lees-McRae 4-3 to earn a share of the Conference Carolinas regular season title.
